  • What is the turnaround time after ordering records?

    Authorization requests are sent to facilities within 24 hours of being ordered. Subpoena requests are served once they come out of waiver, or the 15 day waiting period has been waived, (rules vary state to state). Follow up occurs the first week an order is sent out to make sure it has been received and is in line for processing. Approximate delivery times are established, and follow up continues until records are delivered. In most cases, records are delivered to clients well under 30 days. There are times, however, when records take longer. Throughout the follow-up process, notes are documented and details are passed onto our clients. The continual flow of information cuts down on the potential for surprises.

  • How are the records delivered?

    Clients receive a link from us in an email that allows records to be downloaded after they are uploaded to our secure repository. We can customize email notices to go to one or multiple people as needed. Paper records are still available upon request.

  • How much does it cost?

    We charge a flat fee for each set of records obtained. Prices vary between authorization and subpoena requests, but there are absolutely no hidden fees. There are also no extra charges for rush fees. We understand that sometimes, clients need things yesterday for whatever the reason and our team works accordingly to accommodate such needs. We also offer additional services at varying prices including legal nurse consulting chronologies, reviews, and reports. Call any time for a free consultation.

  • How safe and secure are your infrastructure systems?

    Indianapolis Litigation Support Group, (IndyLSG), is an Indiana LLC that operates throughout the State of Indiana and beyond performing various types of legal support work including, but not limited to, pre-trial discovery for both defense and plaintiff law firms and attorneys throughout the US. IndyLSG has been operating since 2003 in this capacity and have never compromised any confidential information or any Protected Health Information. We work with IT and Security Experts to ensure we keep up with the latest technology trends and security concerns. IndyLSG is also fully insured under Professional Liability, Cyber Liability, and Employee Fidelity policies.

  • What happens if records are missing important information?

    Our team will go back to the facility at no extra charge to find missing records or provide an adequate explanation for why records were not produced or do not exist.

  • Is there an extra charge for certification of the records?

    There are no additional charges for certification of records. The only other fee you will ever find on your invoice is the custodian charge from the facility providing the records. All custodians fees are paid up front up to $200 by IndyLSG. Any custodian fee beyond $200 must be paid by the client in advance. This insures that there are no surprisingly large custodian fees and helps ensure swift delivery of records for all clients.
